Yes, I'd recommend this product.
So far the only issue I have is having to pay a 35 dollar activation fee. My husband passed away and I have to watch every penny I spend. Other than that I am happy with the service.

It was a disaster. I have had a home phone for nine years, but it stopped working. So I took it in for replacement. The store gave a new one and said it was ready to go. When I got home and hooked it up it would not connect. I had to call the trouble line and spent well over an hour on the phone trying to get it connected. I was ready to return it and go to another company. Very poor service. Not happy

We were charged to replace a faulty LVP wireless box that kept tripping and leaving our 85 yr old mother without telephone service. The rep called the new box an upgrade in service??? but could not tell us what the upgrade was, as the box is identical! The monthly service was also increased. The new "Upgrade" box now continues to beep and randomly disconnects during conversation. Awful customer service!

I GET CUT OFF EVERY 5 MINUTES. IVE GOTTEN A NEW BOX, THAT THEY CHARGED ME FOR, CHANGED SIM CARDS, BOUGHT A NEW PHONE AND STILL GET CUT OFF. VERIZON SAYS THE SAME THING EVERYTIME I CALL FOR HELP “ TRY

I received a duplicate device and billed twice for it. I had to call several times to rectify the problem. It also affected my billed charges which I also called several times about. I was also misinformed about the billing cycle and immediate charges. I’m a new customer and was looking to save money. This has not been a good experience for me

So far this LVP2 works much better than the old one (which failed). I have had it less than a month. Incidentally several people assisting me in troubleshooting the old unit believed the sim card could be removed from the unit. It cannot be removed as it is part of the printed circuit board beneath the second rear cover.

We have had Verizon Wireless Home Phone for about 4 years now. We started off with the Novatel T2000 and a couple of years ago, we upgraded to the LVP2. The box is plugged into our home telephone wiring (it feeds into an unused jack) and we have jacks in every room. We have a total of 6 phones connected throughout the house, 3 older Bell System phones and 3 modern ones.
The service has been amazing and 100% reliable. We've never had a dropped call, loss of service nor poor voice quality. The sound is actually identical if not better than our old AT&T landline. I like the fact that wireless home phone service is not dependent on internet service and that it comes with battery back up which you can expand by purchasing an additional power pack.
I did read some of the poor reviews on here but we've had absolutely no issues. I will say that we live in an area where we have a great Verizon signal with 4 bars. Initially, we tried placing the device in the basement near the telephone wiring and we only got 1 to 2 bars and we had some issues early on. But as long as you have at least 3 bars, I think the service will work great.
The LVP2 is exactly like a regular landline when it comes to sound quality. However, there are a couple of differences.....
1. After you finish dialing the number, you should dial # so that the call connects faster. Otherwise, after you finish dialing your last digit there is a lag of about 5-7 seconds before you hear a ringing tone. Landlines usually connect immediately.
2. You have less time to dial the phone number than you would on a landline. If you hesitate between digits such as when you might be looking at a phone number on a business card and dialing slowing, it will time out within 5 seconds and you get a recording that your call cannot be completed as dialed. On a regular landline you have about 20 seconds between each digit. This can be an issue for an older person who dials slowly.
3. Older phones could be an issue. The LVP2 does not support rotary calling. And, although it rings all 6 of our corded phones, the 3 older Bell System phones we have ring a little quieter and the lit up dial on our Trimline phones is much dimmer. I am assuming the device does not have a much voltage as a regular landline.
4. Though the service has almost all of the calling feature traditional landlines have, there is one we miss a lot, Speed Calling. Of course you can program each individual phone in your house but it's simply much easier to be able to dial 3# from any phone in the house and reach grandma.
6. There is a bit of a lag when answering a call on Call Waiting. On a regular landline, the switch over happens instantly, On the LVP2 it takes about 3-5 seconds to switch between calls.
5. For a more modern type of landline, it does lack some of the modern features that other VOIP and wireless home phone providers have such as being able to answer your home phone or being able to text through an app on your cell phone
All in all, this is an excellent product and I would recommend it. Just make sure you have a good signal at your home.

This item is junk! I got a new service, got the box above, after several useless calls to your so called customer service I was told they will send a new one and I MUST return this one within 5 days or it would cost me ALLOT OF MONEY! Got the new one, returned the old/ ew one. Once again it does not work. First call to customer no service got a representative that did not speak English very clearly. Called again got a very nice rep but after being on the phone with her for two hours during which I was instructed to remove the cover, remove the battery, remove the SIM card…. Reboot about 6 times, wait 5 minutes, reboot, unplug, reboot, unplug… STILL NO PHONE. So I have been paying for service since 10/31 and still do not have service. This is in my 94 year old mom’s room on a nursing home. Her phone is her life line to her family which now she does not have! I asked could I have a service person come out to help but I was told your company no longer does that, I asked it I could speak to someone in management and was told there is no one! I a. Probable going to cancel this service and if I do I am sure I am going to have an argument about canceling and NOT BEING CHARGED for the month in which I got the phone and yet to have had service!
