Orbic portable high speed internet Hotspot thingy.

This device is a game changer for alot of people who travel alot or bounce around. I can bring my constant high speed internet anywhere i want and when ever I want. No cords or crazy install. They had it running in the store in less than five minutes. Thanks Verizon for out doing yourself again. You never seize to amaze me .

The device works great. I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t show data used on the screen. It always tells me no data info available.

The battery life is really short and doesnt last the night unplugged. If left plugged in constantly, it will only charge to 60% to protect itself. Works great. Being portable is nice, but I bought this to get rid of my really bad internet. It was the right choice. Even on slow speed data, it runs all my security cameras (which is the only reason I need internet at home).

It's great when it works 5g, but it doesn't have the capability of 4g networks quite yet, and when you have little signal in the area, trying to stay online is tough. We will have to see what I was using for my home network because I could patch into my router's Wi-Fi with ethernet and only got 1 bar no matter where I placed it. I was hoping it would have switched to 4g, but it didn't. I was disappointed, but time will tell.

Hi Linda - find below charging best practices. For optimum battery health and life, Orbic does not recommend keeping the battery fully charged for an extended period of time. As a result, Hotspot includes the Battery Preservation Mode (BPM) feature, which helps prevent overcharging and preserve the integrity of your battery. Orbic recommends the following best practices to ensure optimal battery performance and life: • Minimize the amount of time the battery stays at 0% or 100%. 12 • Charge, operate, and store the device as close to normal room temperature as possible. • Store your Hotspot with a battery strength between 30% - 80%. • Best results are achieved by allowing Battery Preservation Mode to activate if you keep yourHotspot continuously powered. Before using your Hotspot, read the Battery Preservation Mode and Battery Tips sections that follow and the battery safety information in the Safety Hazards and Proper Battery Use and Disposal sections at the end of this guide. CAUTION: Always use official OEM batteries and chargers that have been approved by Orbic for optimal performance and safe operation of your Hotspot.
