Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Device works great, sales person is the issue. Said that the basic rate would be good enough for normal tv watching. HA! One evening and we well surpassed the 15gb. Not a good option especially since we are Verizon users but cannot access the home internet in the area.

Ordered a brand new device, had worst connection and signal than my old device. After 6 hours on phone, customer service sent me a new device. It was not new; had glue on back. I swear this is the cheapest most ghetto company ever. I like how they left a note if they don’t get the old device back in 5 days, they will charge me $500. The device itself doesn’t even cost that much lol.

This product is by far the most aggravating and useless mifi box I have ever used. The signal is poor unless you're right by it. It constantly shuts down even after I have put in the sleep/ shut off mode preferences. It DOES NOT HOLD A CHARGE for anything. It goes from fully charged to dead in an hour. I picked this one because it had more positive reviews but for us it was a bad choice. I wish we could have kept the much older model we originally had instead of "upgrading" because this is def not an upgrade.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

As my Dad would say; “when it actually works it works good.” Sadly it seems to work optimally only 50% of the time. It seems that when my phone has at least 3 bars it works, otherwise its like, if i don’t have great cell service it doesn’t even want to function, since its supposed to be Wi-Fi i assumed it would operate nominally anywhere. That being said when it is operational it is really really consistent but probably a 3/5 regarding speed and loading time. On top of that it auto-connects every-time regardless of anything else.

I have only had the MiFi installed a couple of weeks. I have linked a ring spot light cam to it. So far it has worked great with no issues, even spoke to the roofer through the ring app. I have this set up in my late mothers home that is in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma.

Want to start the day off on the wrong foot? Want to always be annoyed when trying to relax and watch tv? Well boy does Verizon have the products for you. I though I was 'upgrading' from my Jetpack 4G LTE MiFi 8800L because that device would cut out all the time. Well... This 'new' MiFi is 100,000x worse, it cuts out at least 3 times an HOUR! I work from home, I need internet! It's also slower than the 4G device was and somehow I'm now consuming twice as much data as I ever did and running through my data plan in 2 weeks? Even though my habit's haven't changed at all? I can't run YouTube videos above 780p without it skipping and pausing the video - oh but commercials run seamlessly of course. I can't even upload the 3 minute review video I took (it's 3 minutes of this device trying to turn on after having to reset it because the internet stopped working for no apparent reason. It takes 3 minutes just to turn on....). I also hate how you have to hold the power button down for 10 years to get it to turn on, but you better sit there and watch it for the next 5 minutes because sometimes the first power-up screen comes on but it doesn't actually turn on, so you have to mash the button until it actually turns on. The battery life is also short lived, in the time it took to write this review the battery went from 62% to 40%. I hate this device. If you want to go from being a laid back happy person to an enraged annoyed house wife, buy this brick of compacted trash. Want to fight your family more often because you're always agitated? Buy this brick of trash. Huge waste of money - for 1/4 the cost you can get their crappy, however less crappy, 4G 8800L. Better yet, get star link like I'm going to. Save yourself the frustration that is Verizon.

Constant disconnects

The speed is good and the over functionality is good but it constantly disconnects and has to be restarted. My phone constantly has 2-3 bars of 5g while this never gets better than 1-2 bars of 4g no matter where I put it in my house. Would not recommend, considering asking for a refund.

I despise this device. Horrible product. I dream of it burning.

What good is a device these days that will not boot up upon placing a charger? Nor has the option to do so. So if it dies, you have to put it on the charger until it gets a charge and turn it on manually. You might be thinking “that doesn’t sound too bad.” Oh but that’s not all! It CANNOT BE PLUGGED IN WHEN BOOTING OR IT WILL TURN OFF AGAIN. You’d think they could make a patch to fix this right? Well, not in the 10 months of owning it have they fixed it. So here’s the process of booting this thing from death, check it out: Plug in cable. Wait 5 minutes for a 3% charge. Unplug the device. MAKE SURE NO LIGHTS ARE ON or it will shut down after boot. Press the button for 15 to 7,386 seconds until the light comes on. Wait 3 minutes for the device to boot up…literally…my 2011 iMac boots faster than this trash. Quickly plug in the device as soon as the Home Screen comes on or you have to start all over again because 3% charge is only enough to boot and about 4 seconds to get it plugged back in. I hope you enjoy my review and please for all things good, buy a different hotspot. Wish my company wasn’t reliant upon this garbage.

One of your answers says this is a domestic only device and another says the device can be used in Italy. Which is correct? If it can be used in Italy with an additional add on charge what is the charge and how long can I use the device? Months?Years?
