This Gizmo is ready for adventure, with a diamond-like coating protecting its larger 1.6" display from scratches. It comes with a wireless dock that makes it easy to just set it down, charge it up and go. For young minds, there’s a math game for turning idle time into learning time. Gizmo helps kids stay active with a daily step goal that you set for them in the GizmoHub app. Parents can use GizmoHub⁴ to manage, text, call¹ and locate² their child’s Gizmo. And with voice calls, a QWERTY keyboard and speech-to-text messages, it’s easy for kids and parents to stay in contact. This Gizmo model is without camera for parents who prefer to not have that option.

If I add a contact for my child they cannot text them- only call. The only way to text is if I give that person permission as a caretaker in which they have to download the gizmo app and can only text and receive texts to and from the watch from the app

Bad watch. Verizon is a mess. Wouldn’t recommend buying or using this provider. Save yourself a headache and look elsewhere.

Of course, your child's location is a top concern. That's why location and map features are front and center on the GizmoHub app. Create location alerts to know your child's location at a specific time each day or when they cross in or out of specific areas. Tap the refresh location or real-time tracking buttons to get location updates on demand. Also, your child can easily use their Gizmo to check in and send you a real-time location notification.

Stay connected.

Keep in touch through voice calls and in-app messaging. Gizmo Watch 3 - Adventure comes with an accurate, easy to use QWERTY keyboard. Another cool feature is speech-to-text, allowing kids to talk to their Gizmo and have their words transcribed into text messages. Text message conversations can be one-to-one or a group chat. Yes, I'd recommend this product.

This is absolutely perfect for my 8 year old son. So many amazing features! He never carry’s his phone so this is a great way to still track him and talk to him when he is playing outside or going to school.

Both my kids had gizmo watches for about 14 months. They liked it. The tracking wasn’t great but I liked to know there were at least within 10-20 minutes of where it last tracked them. Kids are kids and things break. There is no parts to fix it. Daughter cracked the screen by dropping it. Verizon couldn’t replace the screen. A phone shop could not either. They don’t sell the parts so it’s not possible at all. Next kids watch just blacked out. Stopped working. After 14 months I was thinking ok- kids will be kids, for $30/month I’ll just get new ones. Well…. The watch didn’t even last the contract that I am now stuck in. So I can pay monthly to keep service on 2 broken items for 7 more months or pay $105 to stop service. I’m done. If your product can’t even last the time you make me enter a contract for and you can’t even service a KIDS product then I can’t justify buying it again. Make parts or make the watch last.

Great parent driven features, but they need to make a replacement charger available

I love the safety feature requiring a Passcode to communicate or track the kiddo wearing this. I wish the tracking would default to detailed and that school mode wouldn't need to be turned off during the weekend, which is annoying. My only big complaint is that gizmo promised a replacement charger would be available at the beginning of this month and it's still not available on the Verizon site. I'd like a backup for vacation.... and this charger needs to come with a USB or wall plug so you can plug it into walls because I'm not wanting to have to bring a tablet on vacation just to be able to charge the watch.

Hi Nurse mom. You don't have to turn school mode off on the weekend. You can turn it on or off manually from your GizmoHub app dashboard. You can also schedule school mode for any day of the week. Hi Justin. You should expect at least a full day of battery life from your Gizmo Watch 3 - Adventure. There are a number of factors that can negatively affect battery life, for example, being in an area or building where there is low signal from the network. Also, the watch's step counter does put an additional demand on the battery. If you have the step counter on, try turning it off in the GizmoHub app and see if that helps. Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I purchased this watch for my grandson as a replacement for his Gizmo 2 watch which had a cracked face. It's a great watch and he was able to use it right away since most of the features are the same as the Gizmo 2. He's very happy with it.

Would not even think about buying again

The battery life on it does not last a whole day.It also has problems charging. The watch will get extremely hot and shut down while charging. I have reached out to Verizon and was told I would have to pay for an upgrade to get a replacement. I have only had the watch 3 months. I would not recommend at all

We're sorry you are having trouble with your Gizmo. If the situation is as you've described and If you have only had the watch for three months then you should be eligible for a warranty replacement. It does not sound accurate that you would need to upgrade to get a replacement. Gizmo Watch 3 - Adventure is our newest Gizmo model. Yes. Yes, the band can be easily replaced. Gizmo watches uses standard .8 inch (20 mm) bands which are commonly available.
